As such I’m going to C olorado tomorrow to help a friend buy a car.

My boss is somehow fine with this.

The fun part will be driving the new car back. 25 year old twin turbo Mitsubishis aren’t known for their stellar reliability record.

How boring is that section of highway through Kansas? I can’t imagine that length of distance being populated by nothing but corn. It is just unfathomable to me. Like sure I can drive that far and see no real towns in California, but it will be an endless expanse of 10k+ mountains to fawn over the whole way and neat desert stuff.

Was this a 3000GT  on CL? I was looking at one in Colorado with low miles for a surprisingly decent price last week.  I’m in NM but pretty much all of CO comes up as “nearby” on CL even when it’s 8+ hours away.

Funny enough, I’m driving up the e astern side of Colorado tomorrow on 71, leaving from Albuquerque in the morning. I think we’re going to drive through Limon within a few hours of each other. Should you be in the position of having to stop in  Limon, the Souths ide B ar and G rill is by far the best dining option in town.
